I'm Brian Cummins, you don’t know me yet, but I am new in the area and I'm a professional photographer. My fascination with photographs goes back almost as far as I can remember.

I was just twelve years old when I started taking pictures and now all these years later I have realized a childhood dream of having my own Photography Studio.

When I was a young boy I used to go to my grandma’s house and spend countless hours looking through her old shoe boxes full of photographs. I would ask her who the people in the pictures were and about all the marvelous places I had not yet been. She spent hours with me reliving and sharing her memories with me. I was just amazed at the stories behind each and every picture.

I was amazed with all aspects of the photographs and I would ask numerous questions. As I grew up I was intrigued with the story behind photographs.

That was it, I had been bitten by the photography bug, everywhere I went I snapped pictures, at family events, school, parks, vacations, everywhere, I was always the one taking the pictures. Pretty soon I was the official or unofficial family photographer.

My passion then evolved into studying under the influence of one of the most well-known photographers.

I’m constantly learning everything I can about taking pictures, from taking classes to investing in the latest equipment to give you the best photographs you've ever had.

As a serious professional I am also a member of the Detroit Professional Photographer Association (DPPA).

As a photographer I am very relaxed and patient which helps you to stay stress-free and enjoy your experience while I capture your best portrait ever! I take the same time and pride in capturing moments for my clients as I do with my own family.
